Prior to joining Weichert in 2009, Lea built a stellar track record as Sales Director for major Manhattan firms through several investment cycles. Her sound and balanced style, level of knowledge, strategic thinking and credibility remain unparalleled amongst her peers. Lea was instrumental in forging Halstead Property’s brokerage growth downtown, leading the Soho and Greenwich Village offices for nine years. She also served as Executive VP and Managing Director for Douglas Elliman’s flagship 575 Madison Avenue location; plus was part of the executive team that repeatedly led the office to #1 in the nation.
A New York City native, Lea studied Fashion Business Merchandising at FIT. She strives to lead a balanced and healthy life by sourcing and creating farm-to-table food, practicing yoga, and prioritizing time with her family. Lea also enjoys archery, hiking around the world, 19th century classics and golf.
Michael Rider is an Associate Broker and sales and rental specialist at Weichert's Rockefeller Center office. Michael has an impressive track record of selling condos, co-ops and townhouses. He has also represented many landlords in the pricing and renting of their apartments.
Michael's primary territory has been in Upper Manhattan where he has lived for over a decade, particularly the Hudson Heights, Washington Heights and Inwood neighborhoods. He conducts business with utmost dedication, focus and integrity, and is praised by clients for his honest, upfront approach. His extensive praise has included glowing compliments like "He was a dream!", and "We could not have asked for an agent more in tune with our needs, the neighborhoods and properties in the area."
Michael will use his problem solving and negotiating expertise to make sure your home search or sale process is as smooth and worry free as possible in NYC's complicated and often confusing market. Born and raised in State College, PA, Michael holds a BMus in Voice Performance from Penn State University and a MMus in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College. In addition to his work at Weichert Properties, he is also on the faculty at Montclair State University as adjunct professor of voice. His passion for music, theater and NYC history and architecture fills his spare time. He enjoys visiting New York Historic sites and museums, attending the theater, especially when his students are performing, and visiting his favorite spots, with the Bethseda Fountain and the Poet's Walk in Central Park at the top of the list.
Suzanne Brose has enjoyed a successful career as a Real Estate Broker in Pennsylvania and New York since the early 1970’s. She has owned and operated three thriving Real Estate companies, and worked with a high-profile clientele while acquiring knowledge in all aspects of the business. Suzanne brought her stellar reputation and seasoned expertise to Weichert as Co-Manager of the SoHo NYC office where she not only trains and mentors agents, but is integral in business development and marketing functions. Her exemplary skills and knowledge are invaluable to her company, colleagues and clients alike.
In her tenure, Suzanne has always believed in providing a personal touch and integrity in all her dealings. Hailing from an entrepreneurial family, she made her mark in real estate when the field was just opening up for women. After graduating from Duke University in Durham, NC, Suzanne took advantage of the opportunity, and inspired by her family’s example, went on to found and manage successful real estate brokerage firms, the latest of which was Custom Brokers NYC which she sold to Weichert Realtors. She has been extensively involved in the purchase, sale and investment of luxury real estate from the Upper East Side to downtown Manhattan and other desirable neighborhoods, and is extremely savvy in facilitating complex negotiations.
An active member of REBNY since 1980, Suzanne has complemented her professional experience with numerous personal investments that include properties in TriBeCa, Easton, PA and Mexico. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, she has lived in Manhattan for many years, in the Village, Sutton Place, and currently in TriBeCa just a few blocks from her SoHo office.
Suzanne speaks fluent French as well as some Spanish. She is married to a talented architect who currently is restoring an Elizabethan home outside of Philadelphia. Other than work, she enjoys her family and travel. Suzanne also has a passion for jazz and loves singing in venues throughout the city bringing joy to others through the art of music.
Karen Donica began working in real estate in 2005 alongside her mother, accomplished broker and business woman Suzanne Brose with whom she co-manages the Weichert Soho office. Being trained by the best set her up for a successful career, and instilled a nurturing management style that has proven invaluable in motivating their talented team of agents.
Karen enjoys both the interpersonal and operational sides of running the business and is a staunch professional with sharp attention to detail. Her diligence, finesse and patience help get complex tasks accomplished calmly and seamlessly, and bring parties together with success. She also partners with Suzanne in the brokerage end, servicing new and repeat customers and clients who are seeking and selling homes. Karen is adept at facilitating deals and holds a certification in negotiating which strengthens her expertise.
Born in California and raised mainly in Pennsylvania, Karen pursued her creative side in college, graduating with a certificate in Painting from Pennsylvania Academy of the Arts. She worked in cookware and gourmet food sales early on, then moved into set design to complement her painting life. In the 1990s she lent her keen eye to the graphic design world, and eventually became an art director in the publishing industry. Karen uses her design sense to help agents promote their listings, as well as in the marketing and staging of properties to ensure that clients’ homes are shown in the best possible light.
For Karen, real estate sales and management is all about the people, and being a conduit for connecting them with whatever they need. Outside of work, she loves being outdoors and is adventurous in nature. Painting, reading, volunteering, and time with family and friends are also important to her. A resident of the wonderful West Village, Karen has rented and owned many properties in many areas of NYC including the East Village, Soho, Tribeca, Upper East Side and Brooklyn.

Born and raised in West Hartford, Connecticut, Jason graduated from Tufts University with degrees in Archaeology and Economics. Fourteen summers spent in Tuscany working as the Assistant Director of the Poggio Civitate Archaeological Project, an Etruscan excavation located in Murlo, Italy afforded him an affinity for travel, food and wine, and the Italian language (in which he is proficient). Jason has helped many foreign real estate clients who appreciate his understanding of European living and intimate knowledge of NYC.
A Manhattan resident for many years, Jason is passionate about the city’s diverse communities. Though he considers himself a “naturalized” Manhattanite having lived in the East Village, Union Square, Murray Hill, Soho, the Upper West Side and now Greenwich/West Village, he has become an expert in Brooklyn, particularly in his favorite area of Williamsburg.
Outside of work, Jason can usually be found surrounded by food, either in one of his favorite restaurants or testing new recipes with friends and clients. He is a wine enthusiast with a vast collection, and an avid traveler with Morocco and Japan his most recent jaunts. Jason is an active member of various organizations, including Young Friends of FAI, Whitney Contemporaries, The Etruscan Foundation, The Leslie-Lohman Museum, SAGE, and Tufts University Alumni Association; He also serves as President of the Murlo Foundation.
William has enjoyed success in real estate in both sales and management capacities. This New York Licensed Agent was hired as the Regional Trainer for Weichert University and has transitioned to Regional Leader/Recruiter for New York City, while continuing to serve buyer and seller clients in multiple NYC boroughs. He is particularly focused on sales and rentals throughout Manhattan and Queens, setting records in five areas of Queens and FiDi in 2015 and 2016 alone.
William’s experience as a sales manager, finance manager, and salesperson for various auto dealerships cemented a strong foundation for real estate. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and insight with new Weichert associates, helping them position themselves for a career of service excellence. His seasoned background in sales and finance also enables William to closely connect to his clients and help them navigate the complex buying and selling process with ease and understanding. He is also able to provide investment analysis which has proven extremely beneficial.
Lasting relationships are key to William, who believes in examining the specifics of every deal with his clients so they understand the risks involved before making one of life’s most important decisions. Recently, he closed a transaction for one of the first people he met in real estate, who was promised a mortgage approval from another agent that ended up falling through. William stayed in contact over the years, helped rent them apartments as they built their credit up, and got to know them personally. When their new baby arrived, they trusted no one but William to find a place to buy.
Originally from Long Island, William currently lives in Astoria, Queens with his wife. He graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a B.A. in Applied Mathematics, and used ingenuity to pay for college playing online poker. William continues to play semi-professional live tournament poker when he has free time. He also speaks sign language, and works with the deaf at St. Elizabeth’s Church in Huntington, NY.
